The Capital TOP 100 Technology Companies in Bulgaria project is based on objective financial criteria – profit and gross operating income of Bulgarian and international companies in the telecommunications, IT and outsourcing sectors operating in the domestic market.
In the 23rd edition of TOP 100 Technology Companies in Bulgaria, BRIGHT ranks 53rd, climbing 8 positions in comparison to the previous year continuing its double-digit growth yet another year.
According to Capital’s market analysis, the development, implementation and integration of software applications and platforms provided by local IT companies equal to 109.5 million in 2019.
BRIGHT ranks twelfth in the Top System Integrators by Revenue Year 2019. As a leading system integrator, BRIGHT recorded a 36% increase in revenue compared to 2018, ranking in the top 10 companies in terms of revenue from IT services.
“We expect growth in the overall digitalization of companies in 2020, with a focus on IT and business processes automation and data analysis projects“, shares Assia Marinova, CSMO at BRIGHT, in an article accompanying the ranking.
BRIGHT ranks sixth in the Top 15 Services System Integrators, with 57.1% growth for 2019, and twelfth in the Top 15 Software Package Providers.
Capital does not fail to mention some outstanding projects that BRIGHT delivered last year, both in Bulgaria and major Western European countries. In an overview of BRIGHT’s projects for 2019, Capital distinguishes the implementation of the machine data analysis platform Splunk with SIEM, Compliance, IT Monitoring and Anti-Fraud solution for A1, the largest telecom provider in Bulgaria.
The publication also highlights the digitalization of IT and business processes on the ServiceNow platform for major clients such as Hoffmann, BP International, Alphaserve, as well as the largest multi-national publishing company, where Bright delivered global IT transformation program, implementing the ServiceNow IT Service Management and IT Operations Management modules.

And if the annual growth shows the improvement for a year, the ranking of the most dynamic companies is a sign of sustainable development for at least three consecutive years. BRIGHT ranks 14th among the Top 50 most dynamic IT companies for 2019 and 23rd among the Top 50 IT companies with the highest growth for the last year.
